    Lucky me, my husband and kids took me out to a birthday brunch at the new-ish Malibu Pier Restaurant & Bar, at the land end of the Malibu Pier.

    Shockingly Delicious family on ShockinglyDelicious.comYes, turning 39 {!!! :) } was never so fun as it was that day…

    Malibu Pier Restaurant on ShockinglyDelicious.com…sitting outside in balmy weather, noshing on brunchables, listening to the waves break and the sea gulls squawk.

    I recommend it, and will be back to sample more of chef Jason Fullilove’s inventive creations.
