Guava Lemonade

Guava Lemonade Recipe on ShockinglyDelicious.com

This post is sponsored in conjunction with #BrunchWeek. I received product samples from some sponsor companies to aid in the creation of the #BrunchWeek recipes. All opinions are mine.

Guava Lemonade takes a classic beverage and amps it up with another tropical idea thanks to guava syrup, which supplies both flavor and sweetness. Use still water or sparkling water — your choice. And be sure to serve it in tall, pretty glasses!

We’re concluding #BrunchWeek 2019, hosted by Love and Confections [1] and A Kitchen Hoor’s Adventures [2]! This is our 7th year of #BrunchWeek and 35 bloggers from around the country have showcased more than 140 of their best brunch dishes. We shared so many delicious recipes for you to enjoy throughout the week, including beverages and cocktails, appetizers, casseroles, pastries, coffee cakes, breakfast pizza, plenty of desserts, and more. Our BrunchWeek sponsors are helping us give away some great prizes, so we’d love if you would take a moment to read about it (below the recipe ↓) and what you can win! Today is your last day to enter, so please do so. You can’t win if you don’t enter…just sayin’.

Sponsors, thank you so much, and readers, go enter and get those prizes!

Today I’m using items from 3 of our Brunchweek sponsors, because they all fit so well together to make and serve Guava Lemonade! The Guava Syrup comes from Torani [3], the pretty and elegant lead-free crystal Stella Highball Glasses come from JoyJolt [4], and the fun star straws come from Sweets & Treats [5]. The lemons happen to be from my backyard tree!

Assemble ingredients for Guava Lemonade on ShockinglyDelicious.comThe minute I saw the bottle of Torani Guava Syrup [6], a homemade lemonade recipe flashed in my head. The syrup adds a tropical dimension as well as the sweetness the lemon juice needs.

Easy Guava Lemonade Recipe on ShockinglyDelicious.comYou could certainly use simple syrup, agave or sugar to sweeten the lemonade, but why not give it more flair with a flavored syrup? I tried it with guava syrup and with mango syrup, and both are great!

DIY Lemonade board with flavored Torani syrupsAnother presentation idea is you could also put out a sort of DIY lemonade and syrup bar, as I show above, with several different flavors of Torani, and let people add ice, syrup and lemon juice to their own glass of sparkling water.

Every good brunch needs a fun beverage, and this pretty Guava Lemonade can be your next offering!

Guava Lemonade

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 serving

Guava Lemonade

Guava Lemonade takes a classic beverage and amps it up with another tropical idea thanks to guava syrup, which supplies both flavor and sweetness. Use still water or sparkling water -- your choice. And be sure to serve it in tall, pretty glasses!

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons guava syrup (I used Torani Guava Syrup)
  • 2/3 cup still water or sparkling water (or you can use a lemon-flavored unsweetened sparkling water)
  • Ice cubes
  • A tall, pretty glass (I used a JoyJolt Stella Highball Glass)

  1. In a tall, pretty highball glass, add the lemon juice and guava syrup.
  2. Add ice cubes, and top off with still water, sparkling water, or lemon-flavored unsweetened sparkling water -- whatever you are choosing to use.
  3. Give it a quick stir, stick a couple of cute straw in there, and serve!
  4. Makes 1 serving.
