We’re full of good ideas here at Shockinglydelicious World Headquarters, but this one is so simple, so elegant, so easy, it might just be…

The.
Best.
Idea.
Ever!

File this one under “it’s all in the presentation, dahlink!”

And here’s the idea…drumroll, please…to get your kids (or anyone, for that matter) to eat more fresh veggies, simply put selected veggies in a canning jar and slide it over within reach of little fingers either before or during dinner.

Read all about it on my article at Malibu Patch.

Try it at your house and let me know how it works.

If you try it, please share your success with me here.

Great idea! First of all, I love mason jars! I haven’t tried this, but I have put veggies on a plate on the table and my son will definitely eat those if they are in front of him. I can’t wait to the canning jar idea!

Cute idea! I mix mine into entree’s so Craig doesn’t know that they’re in there. Yes, Craig is my husband and technically not a child (technically).

I like the word revolution when it comes to food. It means something good is about to happen.
